New Year, New Threats, New Expectations

As the new academic year begins, please be aware that new sophisticated phishing messages continue to flood the Internet and email servers. These hoaxes will use threats of lost service, deleted accounts, and other tricks in their attempts to get Rice community members to reveal private information. Recently, they have also included official Rice logos, images, and copyright information. Remember, no one at Rice will ever ask you for your Rice password, account name, or other personal information by email.

And if you're wondering what the new undergraduates are expecting, technology-wise, check out survey responses in HTML or PDF.
