About Rice and the WebDid you know that Rice was one of the first 10 websites ever registered? While that is a fun fact, the reality is that we've been diligently maintaining a website since the early 90s. (For a fun look at the old designs, see the Wayback Machine. Originally updated solely by Information Technology, the web is now maintained by a joint effort of IT and Public Affairs. Rice is as multi-faceted as the Web. There are many resources online and on-campus to assist you. Any questions or issues you may have can also be sent to helpdesk@rice.edu. From there, the trained staff can determine the best person/group to help solve your problem. See the Campus Resources section for more information.
