The James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy regrets to inform you that Bernard Mommer, Deputy Minister of Hydrocarbons, Venezuela, and Director, Petroleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA), has postponed his scheduled trip to Houston for Thursday, May 15, 2008. The Baker Institute conference, “The New Governance of Oil in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela: Implications for the Venezuelan Energy Sector and Its Export Role in the Western Hemisphere,” scheduled to begin at 8:30 am in Baker Hall that day is also postponed as a result of this recent news.
