Matthew E. Chen is a former research associate at the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy. Chen graduated cum laude with a B.A. in history from Rice University in 2004, and he also studied at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, from 2002 to 2003. He earned a Master of International Affairs (MIA) with distinction from The Australian National University in 2005. His work on global security, energy, human rights and corporate governance has been published by the Baker Institute and has also appeared in Orbis: A Journal of World Affairs and The Whitehead Journal of Diplomacy and International Relations. |

Stacy Eller is a former graduate student researcher at the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy, specializing in energy economics, markets and policy. Prior to coming to Rice University, Ms. Eller was a commercial analyst for Global LNG at BP. Prior to the position in Global LNG, Ms. Eller served in the trading floor at BP’s North American Gas and Power division and as an analyst at El Paso Corporation’s Merchant Energy division. She holds a B.A. degree in Economics from University of Texas at Austin. |

Jennie Rosthal |

Jennifer E. Rosthal is a former graduate student researcher at the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy Energy Forum and a Ph.D. student in the Rice University economics department. Rosthal's research focuses on United States natural gas and electricity demand and gas and petroleum product-price relationships. Prior to coming to Rice University , Rosthal worked as a research assistant at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and co-authored the book, "Pathways to a Hydrogen Future" (Elsevier Science, 2007). She has presented her work at the United States Association of Energy Economics (USAEE) Conferences and holds the student representative position on the USAEE Council. Rosthal has a B.A. in economics from William Smith College. |
