The Rice Student Health Services provides preventive and outpatient clinical care for the students of Rice University. Student Health is located on-campus and is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of undergraduate and graduate students, with an emphasis on prevention.

Welcome new students!

Fall 2009:

We are currently out of seasonal influenza vaccine. Local area Walgreen's Pharmacy still have vaccine available. Novel H1N1 2009 vaccine is not yet available on campus. For information on where the vaccine may be obtained please visit the City of Houston influenza website.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Travel consults are available for fall trips. Please schedule soon to get your vaccines and medications.

 

H1N1 influenza: Please consult the cdc website on novel A H1N1 for further information. The Rice crisis management team is monitoring the situation and are issuing updates as needed.

Don't forget: We now offer visits during lunch!

HPV Vaccine now available!

Student Health has received and will offer the new HPV vaccine (Gardasil) for $130 per shot. Call x4966 to set up an appointment if you are interested in receiving this vaccination series. More information on the HPV vaccine can be found at the CDC Web site.

Health Services moves to electronic medical records system

SHS uses an electronic health records system. This new technology helps build upon our commitment to excellence in quality of care for Rice University students.
