The Rice Student Health Services provides preventive and outpatient clinical care for the students of Rice University. Student Health is located on-campus and is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of undergraduate and graduate students, with an emphasis on prevention.

FALL 2008: WELCOME BACK! The clinic is open from 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday.
Flu shots will be available in September for $13. The CDC now recommends starting immunizations as soon as possible. Vaccine information is available at the front desk.
Holidays: The clinic will be closed for Labor Day Sept 1, Thanksgiving break Nov 27-28 and Winter break Dec 20 thru Jan 4. The clinic will close at 2pm on Nov 26.
Midterm Recess hours on October 13-14: 8am to 2pm.

HPV Vaccine now available!
Student Health has received and will offer the new HPV vaccine (Gardasil) for $130 per shot. Call x4966 to set up an appointment if you are interested in receiving this vaccination series. More information on the HPV vaccine can be found at the CDC Web site.
SHS goes paperless
Health Services moves to electronic medical records system
SHS has started an electronic health records system. This new technology will help build upon our commitment to excellence in quality of care for Rice University students and we are very excited.
