On Campus Resources
- The College Assistance Peer Program is composed of members from all nine colleges, dedicated to help fellow students with mental, emotional, and health issues. Working in conjunction with the Rice Counseling and Wellness Centers, CAPP members are trained to be a preliminary support network for Rice students and uphold similar confidentially policies as the aforementioned services. CAPP members are visible and accessible to fellow students, providing them with opportunities to learn about campus concerns through counseling, study breaks, and lecture forums.
- The Counseling Center is committed to helping you achieve maximum benefit from your experiences at Rice. This may include helping you perform better academically, to manage your emotions, to be more effective in your relationships with others or to resolve past hurts. Our desire is to help you think and function more effectively and to have control over your life.
- In keeping with the university mission to provide an unsurpassed education, the Disability Support Services (DSS) office provides and facilitates accommodations and support services for students, faculty, staff and visitors with disabilities.

- Rice University Emergency Medical Services (REMS) strives to provide the Rice community with quality emergency medical care. REMS seeks to accomplish this goal through rapid response to calls for emergency service, standby coverage at special events, education of the Rice community, and a commitment to compassionate patient care, quality improvement, and professionalism.
- The SportsMed Web was designed specifically with the endurance athlete in mind, but there is material here that will appeal to all athletes. The site was designed to promote the health and safety of all who compete in sports, train for a goal, or just exercise to have fun.
- The Wellness Center seeks to develop programs to encourage and reinforce behaviors in students that promote health and well-being. Working in collaboration with the Student Health Cluster, the office aims to assist students in managing the challenges of academic life and to improve their health knowledge, attitudes and behavior.
