General Sessions: September 8th, 11th and 15th.

Sports Sessions:

Flag Football: September 8th at 6 p.m

Basketball : September 9th at 6 p.m

Soccer: September 11th at 6 p.m

Volleyball: September 15th at 6 p.m

New Policies for Play-By Date Sports

For the 2008-2009 Intramural Sports year, new policies have been enacted to ensure that all games will be played for sports that do not have Intramural Officials present. Make sure you read about them.

Rules and Policies

There are also updated rules to the Rules and Eligibility policy as of 2007-2008. Please review these. There are also sport-specific changes and updates for 2007-2008.

New policy for graduate students and spouses: Graduate students and spouses can now pay the annual $20 fee directly to the Intramural Sports office to be eligible to participate in ANY intramural sports. You can still pay at the Cashiers office, but would then be required to bring a receipt to the Intramural Sports office.

Rice Intramural Sports Policy

Alcohol and Improper Behavior Policy
Graduate Students and Rice Spouses: Don't forget to pay your $20 fee to the Intramural Sports office or cashier's office to participate in any Intramural Sports during the 2007-2008 academic year. You must pay the fee before your first game!

Intramural Sports Waiver

All participants must download, sign, and return the waiver form. All participants must sign and return an Intramural Sports waiver. You only need to sign the waiver ONCE for your entire academic career at Rice. You must have the waiver on record before your first game, otherwise you will be ineligible.
