Save
Saving data, files and images is important for future reference. There are multiple ways to save information on a computer. In Windows and Macintosh applications, the Save feature can be activated from the toolbar or with short cut keys. As easy as it may be to save the current version of your file, WHERE you store it is just as important. Remember to select a backed up storage location if your data is important. If you are using someone else's computer and do not have access to backed up storage systems, there are several ways to save your data.
- Email it to yourself (as an attachment or paste the copy directly into the body of your email)
- Save it to a portable memory device (flash drive, iPod, etc.)
- Save it to a disk (CD, DVD, etc.)
