Free Personal Calendar and Group Scheduling Service for the Rice Campus

Oracle Calendar is a central calendar, time management and meeting scheduling system which has been licensed for all Rice faculty, staff, and students. Many departments on campus are using this free service to help them schedule meetings, manage conference rooms, and maintain tasks lists.

Although there is no charge for use of the program, you must get an account to access the system. Request your account through the on-line help system at http://helpdesk.rice.edu.

Oracle Calendar offers a robust client/server architecture supporting Macintosh, Windows, and Unix desktops. It also offers web access. Although the system allows university-wide scheduling, you have great flexibility in controlling access to your personal calendar.
