New Network
In the spring of 2004, Information Technology (IT) began analyzing the current network needs of the campus community in order to determine how to implement network capacity for future research as well as day-to-day activities. Built over 10 years ago for approximately 300 mid-1990's computers, the Rice network today is used daily by over 13,000 computing devices.
