Scenario: I'm in Quarantine

For several reasons your system may be isolated or removed from Rice's Network. This list is a brief overview of what to do if your computer is placed in quarantine.

Virus:

  1. Contact Help Desk (helpdesk @ rice.edu; http://helpdesk.rice.edu, or 713-348-HELP(4357)) for assistance removing the malicious threat. If necessary, you may need an appointment with your SCC or your department's support provider.
  2. Once the threat has been removed, your IT representative will assist you in removing your system from quarantine.
