Get AT&T Calling Cards

Department coordinators and administrators can send email to tele@rice.edu with their department name, fund and org codes, and request an AT&T calling card for any faculty or staff member. These calling cards provide Rice-discounted rates to department members who are traveling or working away from campus.

Unified Messaging

Forward your voicemail to your email and forget about calling in to check your voice messages. Anywhere you can get your email, you can get your voicemail delivered as an attachment. Listen to the .wav file attachment to hear the exact message left in your Rice voice mail. Messages are automatically and immediately delivered via email for a one-time cost of under $100. Telecommunications

The Telecommunications group in IT manages and maintains the centralized telecommunications network. This network provides telephone service to residential college rooms, faculty and staff offices, and classrooms and labs. Maintenance and repair services, new telephone line installation, billing, and other telephone service program changes are just a few of the types of support work performed by the Telecommunications staff.
