The VPN 3000 client software is simple to install, simple to run, and provides secure access to a far wider range of resources than remote users can access without it. Note: VPN 3000 download information is only available to Rice VPN 3000 account holders.
Installation and configuration for Windows, Macintosh OS X, or Linux
Apply for your Rice VPN 3000 account at apply.rice.edu and follow the instructions to confirm your identity with your divisional team consultant or the Help Desk. Once your VPN 3000 account is active, you will receive an e-mail prompt to download the appropriate installation package for your platform. Only Rice VPN 3000 account holders will receive the e-mail prompt for downloading software.
