Hi Daniel : did you ever get a volunteer to try to gather the

shouldn't be too difficult to grab the LCSH terms using Zeta by itself.
If you can supply me with a list of ISSNs I can give it a try... //Ed

Yes, a few folks stepped up and one of them has been going down the
Zeta+MARC road (but he's on this list... sorry for the uninformed
suggestion, all :( ). If you (or anyone else) wants to give this a try,
or just wants to see more of what's in jake, details for getting journal
title lists are available in a message from the jake-devel-list archives
here:

...what that message doesn't say is that the output format from the url
listed there will look like this:

jakeid~title~issn
1~Publishers Weekly~0000-0019
2~AARN Newsletter~0001-0197
3~Communications of the ACM~0001-0782
4~Bulletin of the Association of Departments of English~0001-0898
5~Revista Adm~0001-0944
6~AEU-Archiv fur Elektronik und Ubertragungstechnik-Electronics & Communication~0001-1096
...

...and also that there are roughly 22,000 of these x-ref'd journals
currently in jake (there will be 100,000s eventually).

  Much thanks,
