Continuation of the development of speaking, listening, reading, and
writing skills.  Introduction to approximately 120 Chinese characters
associated with Sino-Korean vocabularies.

listening and reading skills required.

KORE   344 KOREAN LITERATURE & CULTURE              Credits 3.00  Fall 99
           * DISTRIBUTION COURSE: GROUP I
Exploration of selections from modern Korean literature and watching
Korean films.  Includes background survey of Korean history, philosophy,
and religion.  All texts and films in English translation.  No previous
knowledge of Korean required.  Also offered as ASIA 344 and HUMA 344
