NSCI   111 SCIENCE TODAY I: PHYSICS AND ASTRONOMY   Credits 3.00  Fall 99
           * RESTRICTED DISTRIBUTION COURSE: GROUP III
An integrated survey of key principles in physics and astronomy,
intended for nonscience/engineering majors. The course will focus on
scientific methodology and a few universal laws and will tie these to
practical experience and societal issues. Primary goals are to prepare
the student to appreciate popular accounts of scientific discoveries,
and to form intelligent decisions on contemporary scientific issues.
