A survey of concepts in physics and astronomy that form the basis of the
modern, Big Bang cosmological model. By focussing on scientific methodology
and a few universal laws, the course is intended to help students appreciate
popular accounts of cosmic discoveries as well as to form intelligent views of
other contemporary scientific issues. Intended for non-science/engineering
majors.
