HANS 385   CAREERS IN eBUSINESS                     Credits 3.00  Spring 02
This class will introduce students to technology as it relates to business.
Specifically, the course will introduce students to concepts common in
information technology and general business, and specifically where those two
overlap to form eBusiness. This will provide students with both career
direction and academic enrichment. Enrollment is limited to 30.
Students will
attend lectures on both theoretical and practical topics. There will also be a
number of hands-on lab exercises. Several lectures will be given by guest
speakers with various specialized industry experience. The readings and
lectures will be supplemented with case studies.
Topics will be drawn from
real world experiences, and will range from career paths to somewhat tehcnical
discussions. No technical background is assumed.
