ITAL 302   ADVANCED ITALIAN FOR WRITTEN & ORAL COMM Credits 3.00  Spring 02
* DISTRIBUTION COURSE: GROUP I
Active practice of compostion, oral analysis and discussion based upon the
reading of texts and viewing of films on selected issues and problems in modern
Italian society. The course includes short stories by Pirandello, Giovani
Verga, Cesare Pavese, Italo Calvino, and Dino Buzzati, as well as a novel from
the contemporary period. Enrollment limited to 20.
