BROW 341 INTRODUCTION TO ADVERTISING Credits 3.00 Fall 03
In this participatory course students learn the basic, practical skills that
enable them to become beginning advertising professionals, by learning how to
evaluate advertising, a 250 billion dollar business in the United States. This
involves dealing with he broad fundamentals of advertising including brand
positioning/strategic planning (analysis), copywriting, art direction,
production, media planning and buying, and research, and integrated marketing
communications in general.
Enrollment will be limited to 25 at the first
meeting of the class through priority by year and college."
