The intention of this course is to suggest to students, particularly
architecture students, that art can be an integral part of their
everyday professional lives. Students will be exposed to art museums,
local galleries, and art magazines, and they will be encouraged to see
the world in new ways through making art -- i.e., through oil painting,
watercolor, pencil and charcoal drawing, and photography. Students will
also keep a journal to record the way in which art begins to implicate
itself in everyday life.
Enrollment limited to 12
