"Crescendo": active practice of contemporary Italian; literary and cultural
readings serve as a basis for class discussion and composition; includes a
movie by the Italian master Fellini.
Prereq- ITAL 201 or Placement Exam. Extra work for ITAL 302 credit.

In addition to "Crescendo," the course includes "La Bottega del Racconto":
active practice of composition, oral analysis and discussion based upon the
reading of texts and viewing of films on selected issues and problems in past
contemporary Italian society.
