RICH 275 AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE Credits 3.00 Spring 00
The fundamentals of the structure of American Sign Language are presented and
developed. The theory of "national sign language" is
studied through
demonstration and practice. The influence of idiomatic
expression and body
language of ASL is studied. This course is designed
to prepare students for ASL
II. The development of skills demands that
the student have a receptive and
expressive skill in American Sign Language.
