The Subsurface Modeling Group investigates the use of high-performance
parallel processing as a tool to simulate the behavior of petroleum
reservoirs and groundwater aquifers. This group of researchers uses an
interdisciplinary approach to research through the involvement of
faculty and research scientists in mathematical science, chemical
engineering, and computational science.
WE HAVE MOVED:
The Subsurface Modeling Group has moved to the Texas Institute for
Computational and Applied Mathematics at the University of Texas at
Austin and changed its name to the Center for Subsurface Modeling.
