RSVP Opportunities

* World Hunger Day -- Oct. 6 and 7 -- you can make a food or money donation, take part in a symbolic fast, or simply come to learn more about how people can help hunger relief efforts.

* Habitat for Humanity Family Weekend Project meeting in the Cloisters of the RMC Sept. 30 at 8 a.m. Students, family, faculty and staff are encouraged to come join us for the day.

* OWLCORPS: A joint venture between SERVE HOUSTON, an affiliate of AmeriCorps, and Rice. Responsibilities include after-school tutor, outreach activities and volunteer recruitment. Application deadline is Oct. 6.

* Volunteers Needed for the Veterans Hospital to work approximately four hours per week from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays or Wednesdays.

* RSVP needs several tutors. If interested, contact Catherine McKay at ext. 6044.
