* Rice alumnus, Baker College community associate and NASA Astronaut Dr. Jim Newman will be the featured guest at "Baker in Space" to be held in the Baker College Commons at 8 p.m. Arthur Few organized the event and Newman will be speaking about his recent shuttle mission.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16

* Attention all prospective students for English 475 (modern Drama on Film and in Performance): There will be a lottery for 20 places in Dennis Huston's spring-term English 475 class at 7:30 a.m. in 110 Rayzor Hall.
