Colin Powell
Noburu Takeshita
As former prime minister of Japan, he served in the Diet for 11 consecutive terms. In his five terms as Minister of Finance, he concentrated on fiscal reconstruction, tax reform and opening Japan's financial markets. He will be a panelist in the second discussion.
Roland Dumas
Dumas served as the Minister for Foreign Affairs of France from June 1988 to March 1993 and from 1984 to 1986. Pre-viously, he was Minister of European Affairs and a spokesman for the French government. In 1956, he was elected a deputy in the French Parliament, beginning his career in politics. In 1968 he was vice president of the French National Assembly. He also served as the Socialist Deputy of Dordogne and will speak in the second panel.
