The producers of The Evening Star , starring Shirley MacLaine and Juliette Lewis, are looking for background actors to appear in a scene on Dec. 12.

Anyone interested in being an extra should call 862-1554 as soon as possible to ensure participation.

The Evening Star is a Rysher Entertainment Production and Paramount Pictures release and is based on the book by Larry McMurtry, a 1960 Rice graduate.
