SA Business
The Student Association Senate met Monday at 10 p.m. The following were discussed:
* The Senate passed a resolution which recommends that the pass/fail deadline be extended to the end of the 10th week of classes. The resolution will be reviewed by the Committee on Undergraduate Curriculum. (See story on page 1.)
* The Senate approved a measure that would ask for student input on a new Student Activity Fee. The bill, sponsored by Sid Richardson College senator Krista Kyle, places a non-binding poll on the general election ballot. If later approved, the $10 blanket tax would be used to fund campus-wide programming.
Next meeting: Monday at 10 p.m. in the Kelley Lounge of the Student Center.
