The Department of Hispanic Studies would like to announce that they are still accepting applications for both their study programs: Summer in Spain and Fall In Chile. Scholarships are also available. JUNIORS AND SENIORS! Introducing a two-semester honors course (470, three credits, and 471, one to six credits), called the RUSP/Rice Undergraduate Scholars' Program. To teach more about such a career and to give the experience of being a graduate student, you do research in any topic, do art, write music, expand an essay or creative writing or build a robot in any department(s). You must enlist a mentor and define your project by the application deadline of March 15. RUSP differs from other honors programs in that participants are from any department and receive funding (up to $1,200, which might fund a trip to a professional meeting or museums/libraries and materials).
