SA Business


The Student Association Senate met Monday. The following items were discussed:

* Applications for envision grants can be picked up and turned in to the Student Organizations Office by 5 p.m. April 16.

* The University Council is proposing to increase the President's Honor Roll cutoff from the top 30 percent of students to the top 35 percent. To give input, contact the SA.

* The SA budget was approved. It can be accessed online at http://riceinfo.rice.edu/projects/SA/.

* The Herring Hall, Space Science (North Lot) and Main Street lots will be open to student parking starting at 3:30 p.m.

* The Strategic Planning Committee is seeking input on the draft of the strategic plan, accessible online at http://www.ruf.rice.edu/~pilgrim/form.html .

* The newly completed athletic facility at the stadium is now open to all students from 7 to 10 p.m.

Next meeting: Monday, at 10 p.m. in the Kelley Lounge at the Student Center.
