SPORTS NOTEBOOK: Cycling team places fourth in weekend road race

The Rice cycling team put up a good fight this weekend as they finished fourth in a road race on Sunday.

Will Letendre finished first in his division. Stuart Baur, Mark Vogan, Martin Holt and Matthew Potoff all rode competitively in their divisions, but they failed to come away with victories.

Melissa McConachie and Ania Mitros finished well in the Women's B division, placing first and third, respectively.
