TOOPEES

For late-night treats and eats, Toopees is a winner. Though it is clearly a coffee shop, Toopees nonetheless bolsters its menu with numerous interesting breakfast and snack delights.

It's a great place to get dessert and relax in the quiet booth, table and patio layout. Here you can sip hot and cold coffees and other tasty drinks while you chat softly with your friends or push through another night's studies.

The tables are covered with paper, and patrons are encouraged to express themselves (crayolas are provided). There is also a small magazine rack to provide distractions.

Get a rich helping of Montrose flavor (if you know what I mean) at Toopees.

It's located on Alabama between Woodhead and Hazard Streets a half mile east of Shepherd Drive.
