DOLCE & FREDDO

You pass this place all the time. One night, stop in and enjoy one of many tasty desserts and some excellent wine and coffee. Dolce & Freddo's atmosphere and fare are similar to what you might get if you crossed an ice cream parlor with a coffee bar.

Indoor and outdoor seating areas provide excellent options to relax and converse with a friend (although it is a bit chilly inside).

Don't let the large neon sign frighten you away -- this is no Starbucks. They've got great Italian- style ice cream and sorbetto as well as every flavor of cappuccino you can think of.

They also claim to be starting live jazz performances on the weekends. Dolce & Freddo is located on Notting-ham and Kirby just one block south of Sunset.
