Grad House Lot Sept. 23 Vehicle stolen from the New Orleans area recovered.
Cohen House Sept. 23 Suspicious subject detained by Campus Police and taken
to RUPD station; he was warned and released.
The Rice Police Department has issued a warning about a telephone scam involving a company called Global Communications. The company sends e-mails threatening legal action if the recipient does not call a certain telephone number. If the recipient calls, long-distance charges are billed to his or her account.
