SATURDAY, MARCH 22
* Check out Cloud Nine Ultimate as they present the third annual "Taste
of Rice." The event lasts from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Sid Richardson College
Commons.
Bring a big appetite and $5.
* Forget about O-Week. Rice's ultimate team scavenger hunt is from 2 p.m. to 5
p.m. in the Grand Hall of the Rice Memorial Center. Be one of the first 80 to
sign up and add a free T-shirt to your wardrobe.
* It's time for Baker Faire, featuring a day of mud wrestling, velcro wall-
jumping and, yes, live chickens. Check out these activities and more from 1
p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Baker College quadrangle.
* See a movie for free as Rice International Students Association presents
Il Postino
at 7:30 p.m. in Herring Hall, Room 124.
SUNDAY, MARCH 23
* The women's tennis team faces the University of Iowa at 1 p.m. at Jake
Hess Tennis Stadium.
MONDAY, MARCH 24
* Join in the wild excitement at the weekly SA meeting at 10 p.m. in
Kelley Lounge in the Student Center.
TUESDAY, MARCH 25
* Respect your elders and come out for Willy's Birthday in the academic
quadrangle. Check out the birthday cake and climb a 25-foot rock wall. Graduate
students can purchase tickets at Valhalla for $3 (before March 20), and faculty
and staff can buy tickets at the event for $5. Students can charge the
foodstuffs to their meal plans.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26
* Today is the last day of class before spring recess, so don't skip!
(Yeah, right.)
THURSDAY, MARCH 27
* Come and see South American artist Abdel Hernandez's
presentation
of a Venezuelan marketplace in the Sewall Hall sculpture courtyard at 6 p.m.
The exhibition runs through April 16.

* The baseball team faces San Jose State University at 7 p.m. at Cameron
Field.

* The men's track team holds a "Meeting of the Minds" at the Rice Track
Stadium. All day.

* The men's tennis team viciously swats down the unwitting visiting team
from the University of Oklahoma at 1:30 p.m. at Jake Hess Tennis Stadium.
MONDAY, MARCH 31
* It's another manic Monday at the weekly SA meeting at 10 p.m. in
Kelley Lounge in the Student Center.
TUESDAY, APRIL 1
* Classes are cancelled today. (Yes, this is a joke. No, it's not a very
good one.)
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2
* Attend the Legalease law forum. A panel of lawyers will discuss their
legal fields and answer questions. The forum begins at 7 p.m. in Farnsworth
Pavillion in the Student Center.
THURSDAY, APRIL 3
* Check out the 40th anniversary celebration of the college system at
Rice from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Grand Hall of the Rice Memorial Center.
