During the appropriations section of the meeting, the
Shooting Club raised a few eyebrows by asking for at least $1,000 for a safe to
protect their guns, which are currently stored in the basement of Autry Court.
The equipment desk has had security lapses, causing concern that anyone could
access these guns. After a vote to give them only $50 was taken, they were
ultimately turned down.
The SA disputed that the club should try other avenues and sources for money,
and if all those were exhausted, to try them again.
The Rice University Latin American Liaison Association was also denied money.
They are taking 15 or so students and two advisers to Monterrey, Mexico.
The Student Association Senate met Monday. The following were discussed:

n Student Organizations is currently accepting nominations for Who's Who Among
