From Design Kitchen to Medical Triage Center

It may have happened by chance rather than design, but Rice’s newly completed Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen, with its quiet, climate-controlled atmosphere, proved to be the perfect location for an emergency medical triage center. The center was organized through a collaborative effort among Rice and Memorial Hermann, St. Luke’s, Ben Taub and Methodist hospitals.
