MIGRATION INFORMATION

Status by Building
As the cabling survey is conducted, detailed designs of each building are created. These drawings note existing locations for cables as well as notations for additional wiring in the new network project. As of August 22, 2005, the cabling survey was 95% complete. The migration process involves:
- Perform Network Migration in Phases
- Connect 'Old' and 'New' Network
- Upgrade Internet Connection
- Implement Network Storage Services
- Migrate Application and Infrastructure Services
The following dates are estimates only. Before migration begins on any building, the project manager will contact the building coordinator to schedule interviews.
