Thumbs Up

Rice University continues to help set the pace for diversity in its student population.

For the fifth consecutive year, Hispanic magazine has ranked Rice among the top five colleges and universities in the nation for Hispanic students. The March issue scores us second, behind Stanford and ahead of Harvard, the University of California at Berkeley, and Swarthmore.

And Hispanic Network Magazine recently ranked Rice number three for Hispanic students. Numbers one and two on their list are Stanford and the University of California at Berkeley, and Rice is followed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of California at Los Angeles. The rankings can be found in volume 14, issue four.
