Beer Bike may have gotten off to a sunny start in 1957, but this year, the weather refused to cooperate. Not everyone was feeling washed out and blue, though. For the first time in Beer Bike history, the racers simply abandoned their bikes and turned the event into a foot race. Will Rice was the first across the finish line.
