Student Center maps updated

The maps to the Student Center have been updated for the 2008-2009 academic year. You can now view the lot of them, either by floor or by office listing.

We've changed the look of our site! If something is missing or wrong or out of place, please let us know by sending an e-mail to dstagg [at] rice.edu. We sought to make sure all the most accessible information is available from this main page, as well as "trim the fat" of what the site used to be. Welcome—and poke around!

Summer 2008 Shuttle Schedule

For those of you looking to use the shuttle this summer, here is the updated schedule:

  1. Inner Loop service will operate from Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., approximately every 5 minutes.
  2. Greenbriar service will operate Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., every 5-8 minutes.
  3. Graduate Apartments service will operate Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., approximately every 15 minutes.
  4. Texas Medical Center service will operate Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., approximately every 30 minutes.
    (At 1:00 p.m. there is no pick up from Rice. The service will resume at 1:30 p.m.)
  5. The Graduate Apartments shopping service will be provided on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., approximately every 30 minutes.
  6. Night Escort, Rice Village, Undergraduate service will resume in the fall.

The Student Center monthly newsletter "Student Centered" is currently in the April/May 2008 issue. It honors all our graduating seniors from the individual retail operations in the Student Center. Check it out! Make sure to check out the archives as well.

Student Center moves to summer hours

For the remainder of the summer, the Student Center has changed its operating hours. They are available at right; more detailed hours information is available as well.

Mailbox moves to new location

The mailbox that was formerly located across from Coffeehouse is now located in front of the Information Desk. All mail—inter-campus or for otherwise—goes into the same box.
