IT Campus Update: 16 February 2006
REMINDER: No More non-SSL Connections
On March 1, 2006, IT will no longer support
non-SSL e-mail connections on campus e-mail servers.
In short, SSL (Secured Sockets Layer) is an encryption
scheme that scrambles your e-mail NetIDs and password
so that no one can "capture" it on our network.

NETWORK: Campus Network Project
Before work begins on upgrading the network
wiring in each campus building, an information
packet is given to department coordinators and other
key individuals located in that building to share with
the other occupants. For more information on the
