RE: Important Daylight Savings Time changes in Oracle Calendar

As of 2007, the official Daylight Savings Time (DST) period begins three weeks earlier and ends one week later than the DST time line that has been in use since 1966.

Oracle Calendar Upgrade, Dec. 26-31:

Oracle Calendar will be upgraded during the winter recess and the new DST dates will be reflected after the upgrade is complete.

Please do not make any changes or add events to your calendar during December 26-31; these events will not be retained due to the upgrade in progress during those days.

Review your March and November meetings upon your return to campus in January. Meetings scheduled during the new DST dates may begin one hour later than planned and will need to be adjusted.
