Changing, Moving, or Adding Telephone Lines
- Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. - $37.50 per hour
- Requests for after-hours work can be managed at a cost of - $56.25 per hour.
Monthly Telephone Line Charges
- $22.00/month per line.
Telephones
Each telephone is considered telecommunications "hardware" and is purchased by the department. Contact Telecommunications (x4911 or email tele @ rice.edu )for information on current discounts or price breaks for multiple device purchases.
- Standard 3903 phones average - $165 per device.
- Multi-line 3904 phones average - $265 per device.
Headsets
These are optional purchases.
- Wireless headsets like the CS70 are available for approximately - $285.
- Standard over-the-head and earbud headsets average - $90-110.
