Wetlands Education System
A computer-aided instructional program developed by Purdue University in conjunction with the EPA (c) 1991. Thorough, detailed information including definitions. Appropriate for all age levels.
Soil Properties Important in Wetland Creation and Restoration
Provides information and references about soil issues important to wetland creation and restoration. Focuses on physical properties of wetland soils as compared with upland soils and important soil properties to look for in choosing wetland creation/restoration sites.

National Audubon Society Wetlands Campaign
Works to preserve and restore the nation's wetland ecosystems in order to protect birds, other wildlife, and their habitats, as well as to protect human health and safety and to sustain a healthy economy.
Wetlands International - Africa, Europe, Middle East (AEME)
A global non-profit organization concerned with the conservation of wetlands and wetland species in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
Wetland Science Institute
A division of the United States Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service whose mission is to "proactively develop, adapt, and disseminate science and technology to protect and restore wetlands."
Wetlands International - The Americas
Promotes the sustainable use of wetlands in the Americas through partnerships, innovative conservation programs, information sharing, and facilitating access to technical and financial resources.
Water Environment Federation
A not-for-profit educational and technical organization whose goal is to preserve and enhance the global water environment.
Society of Wetland Scientists
A non-profit organization founded in 1980 to promote wetland science and the exchange of information related to wetlands.
National Wetlands Research Center Home Page

National Wetlands Program (Australia)

EPA Office of Wetlands, Oceans, and Watersheds
Contains sections on Laws and Regulations, Landowner Assistance, and Science and Education Resources, in addition to more general information.
Wetlands Regulation Center
Federal and State laws, policies and regulations concerning activities regulated under Sections 401 and 404 of the Clean Water Act in waters of the United States, including wetlands.
North American Wetlands Conservation Act
Establishes an infrastructure and provides a source of funding to encourage voluntary, public-private partnerships to conserve North American wetland ecosystems.
Ramsar Convention on Wetlands
An intergovernmental treaty which provides the framework for international cooperation for the conservation and wise use of wetlands and their resources.
