NL01: West Eugene Wetlands Newsletter, No. 4, 5/1/1990

This newsletter announces the fifth public workshop on the West Eugene Wetlands Special Area Study for May 30, 1990, and sums up the results of the fourth workshop on February 24, 1990, especially with regard to the public comments made. The newsletter also includes a column of news items, dealing with various reports and studies , and with the approval of the proposed mitigation plan for the Phase III expansion of Spectra-Physics.

NL02: LCOG Monthly Newsletter No. 11, 11/1/1991

This November 1991 Newsletter contains 8 articles and an insert with a phone directory of LCOG members. The first article, by Steve Gordon,"$2 Million Appropriated to buy west Eugene wetlands" concerns the west Eugene wetlands. The article, accompanied by a photo of a Willamette Valley Daisy, announces that the Department of Interior's appropriation bill, which sets aside $2 million for the Bureau of Land Management for the purchase of wetlands in West Eugene. This is a major breakthrough in Eugene's lobbying efforts.

NL03: West Eugene Wetlands Newsletter, 10/1/1991

This newsletter from October 1991 features several short articles and announcements that inform about the status of the West Eugene Wetlands, including a status report on the West Eugene Wetlands plan, a report on the funding of wetlands acquisition (see also NL 04), the stormwater quality Plan, the Spectra-Physics mitigation, the changes in the federal wetland manual, and on various activities concerning the Willow Creek Natural Area.

NL07: LCOG Monthly Newsletter No. 6, 6/1/1994

This newsletter from June 1994 includes 9 articles and a calendar of meetings scheduled for July 1994. The first two articles, "Senator Hatfield Dedicates Eastern Gateway Wetlands Restoration Project," by Steve Gordon, and an insert by Heather Hansen, "Wetlands Executive Team Established," concern the wetlands in West Eugene (pp.1-2). They are accompanied by a photo of Senator Hatfield and Mayor Bascom dedicating the Restored Wetland Project, and a photo of Judy Nelson.

NL10: Camassia: Newsletter of the West Eugene Wetlands Partnership, 3/1/1994

This newsletter, which succeeds the West Eugene Wetlands Newsletter (NL 05, 06), features a number of articles and reports, including one on the adoption of the Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan, on the ongoing evolution of the Wetlands Plan and the revision of the Wetland inventory. One article reports on plans for restoring the Lower Amazon Creek wetland, another on the Western pond turtle, and one on the wetland mitigation bank.
