Ten Grid Points
Among a group of ten points on an open grid, several different routes
interconnect each point. The number and sequence of the grid-points visited
can be adjusted to a variety of itineraries, responding to any number of
plans, often at cross-purposes.
On the open grid, the number of available
options multiplies. Grids function as non-hierarchical networks open to
diverse responses and capable of structuring complex associations. The open
patterns of movement generated by the grid demonstrate these qualities.
