The most useful building type on campus: the Big Shed. It is flexible, it is expandable, it divides easily, the equipment fits. There is enough space for almost any experiment. Precast concrete panels attach to steel frames: structure, insulation, and services all separated and independently serviceable.

The buildings are well-matched to JSC's contracting system. How a shed is constructed, how it is inhabited, and how the environment inside is maintained are all separate issues.
